1. Initiate the jointing process with pipes that have integral sockets.
2. Select any two pipes having integral sockets, along with one EPDM sealing ring. Check if there is any damage to the pipe socket.
3. Place EPDM rubber seal into first corrugation of the pipe with a plain end. Check if it is seated properly.
4. Verify that the seal is not misaligned to ensure an appropriate fit.
5. Position the socketed end of one pipe and make sure it aligns with the non-socketed end of the other pipe.
6. Clean the ends of the sockets as well as pipes thoroughly, so as to remove dust, dirt, moisture, if any.
7. Attach the fixture to one pipe’s plain end and also the socketed end of the other pipe for proper joining. Make sure the fixture is positioned properly within the grooves. The purpose is to achieve optimal stability.
8. Spread rubber lubricant on both the inner surface of the socket and also EPDM rubber ring. This is to create a stable and seamless connection.
